I've twittered and I found two friends already on there. I am not really sure what all these things will do for more - guess I can't see the big picture right now.

Library Thing

Hmmm Library Thing is interesting... definitely need to spend some more time there. Really could have put any book by Kathleen Thompson Norris there.

Bloglines

Bloglines may save time by tracking all my favorites.... but I still need to find the time to read them!

mappr

I really like the mappr mash up. My daughter has traveled to so many places - I would like to surprise her with some of her photos on a map.

New DVDs

I use CML's rss feed for new DVDs on order in my "MY YAHOO" page at home. If I could just figure out how to filter for "Feature Films" so that I don't get everything!

Task 10 I think

I liked "The Generator Blog" the best because it is the only one I could figure out how to work. Bloglines still won't let me create an account so I guess Task 8 will remain unchecked.

Techno!

Technology - gotta love it. When I think that I used to TYPE spreadsheets. First we had to gather all the data, then crunch the numbers. The spreadsheets were huge... so they ordered special typewriters that had 22 inch carriages in order to fit the BIG paper. Then we had to proofread for typos.

Computers are great - not sure how I would get along without them.

The centerfold in the last issue of Popular Science magazine is great. It's basically a farm in a skyscraper... the way of the future.

This is one of my favorite photos - taken at Waikaloa Village on the Big Island of Hawaii. I use it for my screen saver at home.

Kristin and I were at the pool and I was just fooling around with the camera. This photo just captures that moment for me.
